Day 1: The picturesque Pithari Village and the inviting meadows of Barthatra Thatch
The trek starts from the beautiful village of Pithari perched on top of a hill with a trail taking you to the vast meadow of Barthatra Thatch with fantastic vistas and the meandering Supin river at a distance,
After a gradual ascent from the village of Pithari the trail opens up to massive views of the Barthatch meadow which is layered like a cascade with the possibility of camping at multiple levels.

Day 2: Magnificent forest walk to reach the Dhaldhar campsite perched at the edge of a ridge
Following the Barthatra Thatch campsite, the trail takes you on a steep ascent to the majestic Dhaldhar campsite, one of kind that is at the edge of a ridge. The campsite also marks the start of what is going to be an exciting and adventure packed ridge walk all the way for the next three days.
Dhaldhar campsite gives you unobstructed views of the mighty peaks of Swargarohini and Kalanag (Black Peak) and several other unnamed peaks that peek through the hovering clouds.

Day 3: The never-ending yet exhilarating ridge walk to the picture-perfect Devbasa campsite
Today marks the beginning of what is going to be a once in a lifetime experience of walking over a ridge blessed with astounding panoramic views. The ridge walk is the highlight of this trek that takes you all the way to the flower-laden pretty campsite of Devbasa with the majestic Baraadsar summit in front of you. A sight to behold.
The ridge separates the Rupin and Supin valleys and the magnanimity of the surroundings is simply incomprehensible.

Day 4: An adventure packed summit climb over a winding trail to reach the mystical Baraadsar Lake
The trail starts with a steep ascent to the Baraadsar summit with multiple vantage points for unparalleled views of the Sankri range to the right and the Kinnaur mountain range to the left.
The trail is across glaciers and challenges which seem to resemble a bit of a Col and a shoulder to reach the Baraadsar summit and eventually to the bowl-shaped Baraadsar Lake with ridges converging at the lake from all sides.
The lake is located right at the border of Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh with a religious significance to the locals of both states.

Day 5: The return journey on a different trail is filled with surprises
The trail from Devbasa deviates towards Vijay Top to reach Vasaped campsite. The trail takes you along a gradual ascend followed by a steep descent.
The journey allows you to see a completely different scenery towards the Rupin valley with plenty of surprises to keep you engaged. With some of the most mesmerizing views, this trail is a treat for adventurists.

The trek ends with a forest walk from Vasaped to the stunning village of Bhitri close to the border of Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh.
