If adventure is your passion, then we have something exciting in store for you. If you have experienced the rise of adrenaline, then now is the time to write about that experience! We heartily invite you to participate in the adventure blog contest.

Pen down any of your adventure experience in the form of a blog post and share it with us not only to win exciting prizes but to inspire the readers also.

Prizes

      1^st Prize :  Voucher of Rs 10000/-

      2^nd Prize : Voucher of Rs 6000/-

      3^rd Prize : Voucher of Rs 4000/-

We don’t want good efforts to go waste hence voucher of Rs 2000 will be given to every  entry that gets published.      

How it works?

• It’s a 30 days contest that starts from 10^th April 2017 and closes on 10^th May 2017
• The blog must be a personal experience of an adventure activity you were part of. For Example Trekking, Cycling, Climbing, Kayaking, Paragliding, Scuba Diving etc, to name a few. 
• Write up must be at least 800 words long and includes 10 high res pictures with relevant captions. No maximum limit of words and photos.
• The blog must be an original write-up & free from plagiarism.
• You can send your entry in three ways:

1. Best way to send your entry is to login to our website, go to dashboard and visit “my content” and publish your blog there.
2. Write your blog in a word doc. and send it to us on contests.bikatadventures@gmail.com . Attach the images in a zipped folder or share through a drive. Name the images (1, 2,3 etc )and mark their position in the blog along with the caption.
3. You can publish your blog on any online portal. Email us its URL. Your online blog must have a link to the Bikat Adventures website (bikatadventures.com)

• Note: If you are using 2nd and 3^rd options use subject line “The adventurer blog contest” in the email and share following information.

- Name of the contestant

- Contact number

- Email id

- A brief about yourself (60-100 words)  

• By submitting the blog contestant agrees to give permission to Bikat Adventures to use the blog and its content for any purpose, such as promotional material, displays on website or social media without compensation to the blogger or any individual. Credit will be given where possible.
• 1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd winner blogs will be judged based on content, creativity, and originality, by the Bikat’s judging panel.
• The results will be announced on 20^th May 2017 on our website and information will be shared on our official twitter, facebook , instagram handles. Winners will be notified via mail also.
• Judges decision will be final and absolute.

• Although there is no sure shot way of pulling off a great blog-post but there are some patterns that we have noted from our experience of sharing stories till now:
• 1. good experiential write up is personal! Purely because reader connects better
  2. Has a context to start with and does not end without conclusion/summarization/climax
  3. Has a good mix of words and visual creative like image, video, sketch, etc.
  4. Is neither too short where a reader feels that he/she is missing the details, nor so long that she dozes off 
  5. Supported with an introduction of the author.

NOTE: Bikat adventures reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, modify or suspend the contest at any point of time. 

The Adventurer Trek Photo Contest

Good news for all the adventurers who like to observe and see everything in different light, and take all extra efforts to have that ideal frame and leave no stone unturned to click that picture perfect. We appreciate your efforts & welcome you to the Adventurer Trek Photo Contest.

How it works?

• It’s a 20 days contest that starts from 10th April 2017 and closes on 30th April 2017
• Submit a minimum of 2 and maximum of 4 images per contestant.
• Submit your pictures as a JPG (Min. 1MB – Max. 10MB)
• Simply email us your images at contests.bikatadventures@gmail.com.Use subject line “The Adventurer Trek Photo Contest” and share the following information in the mail.
  • Name of the contestant
  • Name of the trek
  • A photo caption
  • A brief description that why you chose this particular picture for this contest
• By submitting you agree that you own all copyrights of the photograph.
• The copyright of the photo submitted will stay with the contestant however by submitting s/he gives permission to Bikat Adventures to use the photo(s) for any purpose, such as promotional material, displays on website or social media without compensation to the photographer or any individual. Photo credit will be given where possible.
• Any photo(s) that do not meet any rules or regulations or have incomplete information can lead to disqualification.
• All eligible entries will be posted on our official instagram handle with #bikatadventures
• After the contest closes, the best 10 photos will be uploaded on the website for 4 days, 3^rd May (12:30 AM) - 6^th May (11:30 PM) for voting.
• From these best 10 photos, 1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd winner photos will be picked based on creativity, originality, caption and quality of photo, by Bikat’s judging panel. And viewer’s choice award will be given to the photo that gets the maximum votes.
• Final Results will be announced on 10^th May 2017 on our website and information will be shared on our official twitter, facebook , instagram handles. Winners will be notified via mail also.
• Judges decision will be final and absolute.
