Bhira Village to Devkund Waterfalls and back
Coming from Mumbai and Pune gather at the base village of the trek, Bhira. From here, you start your journey. The first few kilometers are along the Bhira dam. The trail then enters a forest and we walk right to the middle of the forest. There are any meadows and dried up water streams along the way. You reach a small pond with clear waters within an hour. This pond has the mighty Devkund Waterfall right above them. The water crashes into the pool from around 80 ft. Stop at the pool and enjoy the fruits of our toil. After having lunch here, start to retrace your steps and get back to the base village Bhira within an hour or two. From here you can either go to Mumbai or Pune easily by cab and take trains for your onward journey.
