Srinagar Leh Cycling Expedition

Arrive at Srinagar Airport where our team shall be waiting. We will depart in Coach /tempo to Srinagar on a stipulated time. We request you to schedule your arrival following the communicated time. After checking in the hotel, you are free to wander if you wish. Get back to the hotel in the evening for orientation and group meet up.

We will drive to reach Gund from where our cycle expedition starts. After reaching Gund we'll cycle a distance of 26KM to reach Sonmarg. Overnight stay in Camps at Sonmarg.

Wake up early & after breakfast, We start our ride as we have to cover a bit longer distance today. Soon after we got through the police checkpoint, we start ascending Zoji la, the infamous pass. Innumerous factors make the roads unpredictable - deep gorge, muddy roads, water crossing. The road is designed to test your endurance and skills, witness the glacier once reaching the top point. Afterwards, this treacherous drive takes you to the second coldest inhabited town of Dras. Overnight stay in Camps at Drass.

This day is marked as the longest cycling day throughout the expedition. In between, We stop at Kargil Memorial to pay tribute to martyr soldiers. Do not forget to gaze at stars at night, if you did; you missed something stunning. Overnight at Kargil hotel.

Today we'll pass through a place, where it is believed that the decedents to Alexander the great live. You would be surprised to see the greenery and the vegetation at the Batalik region. Being the most beautiful stretch, you can’t resist taking photos and videos. Overnight stay in Camps at Mulbekh.

This day we'll cover a comparatively shorter distance of 40KM. Overnight stay in Camps at Hemis Kut.

Today we'll head towards a very famous town known for its Buddhist culture, Lamayuru. It's well known for its Monastery- Lamayuru Monastery. It's also famous for a picturesque destination- The Moonland. Overnight stay in the Hotel.

Our destination of the day is Ullay Tokpo where we'll camp near the bed of Indus River. Overnight stay in Camps at Ullay Tokpo.

This is our last day of cycling. The ride is completely on well-paved tarmac road. We'll be passing through a mysterious place called- Magnetic Hills. We'll arrive at Leh in the evening.
